BE YOURSELF

I Finally, my first answer on football, the love of my life! It was the 2010 FIFA World Cup. I didn't know much about football at that time, I never used to watch it. I used to be a fan of cricket, just like any typical iNDONESIAN. But the electrifying build up to this tournament in school, in the neighborhood and in the streets meant that I couldn't keep myself from watching it. There was a lot of hype around a 23 year old Messi who played for Argentina. About him being the best player in the world, this would be his world cup (playing under Maradona) and all that sort of thing. I decided that Messi is the man I would look out for, in this world cup. I followed Argentina closely. As one would expect, Messi was indeed wonderful to watch. But bad luck for me, Argentina were completely outplayed by Germany in the quarter finals, losing 4–0.
